Video Tutorial: Pop-Up Book Fold

This week’s Stampin’ Sunday video will show you how to make a pop-up book-fold card! I learned this fold from Dawn Griffith.

You’ll need:
Cardbase 5.5 x 8.5, scored in centre
Contrasting cardstock 5 x 8”

For the inside of the card, all same colour:
eight pieces cut to 1-3/8 by 7/8”
two pieces cut to 4-7/8 x 7/8”

Two pieces of Designer Series Paper:
2.25 x 2.75”.
Two pieces of cardstock:
2-3/8 x 2-7/8”.
Two additional pieces, same colour as above:
3/8 x 2-7/8”

Outside of the card:
Cardstock 4 x 5.25”
DSP 3 x 4″
Cardstock 3-1/8 x 4-1/8″
and two pieces cut with Layering Circles dies.

If you’re like me, and trying to use up lots of 12×12″ DSP at this time of year, you can get sixteen cards from one 12×12″ sheet! And these cards don’t need a lot of extra supplies, either, so they are great for using up your stash.

You’ll need:

Four cardbases: 5.5 x 8.5”, scored in the centre
Four pieces white/vanilla cardstock, 4 x 5.25″
One piece contrasting cardstock, 6.25 x 6.25″
One piece of Designer Series Paper, 6 x 6″

You’ll need:

Cardbase: 5.5 x 8.5”
DSP: 4 x 5.25”
White insert: 4 x 5.25”
Two pieces same colour cardstock:
2.5 x 4”
1.25 x 2-5/8”
Two pieces white:
2.25 x 3.75”
Approximately 2-3/8 x 1” (cut with small stitched rectangle die)

You’ll also need some pieces of cardstock in different colours to create the tree.
