Tutorial Post: Double Pocket Card

Sharing is caring!

This double-pocket card is perfect for giving a small gift, and can be created from one sheet of Designer Series Paper, cut to 8 ½ x 11”!

Start by scoring your DSP at 4 ¼ and 5 ½” as shown below.

In the top right corner, measure 3” down from the top and 3” in from the side and draw a pencil line to connect these marks. In the bottom left corner, measure 4 ¼” from the bottom and draw a pencil line to connect this mark with the bottom of the centre scoreline. Score along both these diagonal lines, and burnish all your folds. Cut where shown.

Turn your project over.

At this stage, I recommend completing all the folds without any adhesive, so you can see how the card comes together before you attach anything. Once you understand the design, unfold and then re-do these next steps, using adhesive as you go.

Fold the top left panel over, and fold the corner flap down.

Fold the bottom right panel up, and fold the flap down.

Now you have two pockets! See detail below.

Fold the right panel under the left to create your card. Now decorate as desired, and fill your two pockets!

You can also add cardstock on the inside to write your message.

If you make one of these cards, be sure to share a photo in the comments below! I love to see your creations!

Happy Stampin’!
