Tutorial: Fun DSP Layout
This card design, inspired by Susan Greene, is a great one to help you use your stash!
You’ll need the following cuts of cardstock and DSP:
Cardbase: 8 ½ x 5 ½”, scored in the centre
Cardstock, the same colour as the cardbase:
5 ¼ x 1”
2 x 4”
2 ¼ x 2 ¾”
Designer Series Paper:
5 ¼ x 4”
5 x ¾”
1 ¾ x 3 ¾”
White cardstock: 2 x 2 ½”
Mat all DSP pieces on cardstock mats.
Assemble card as shown.
Stamp sentiment on white cardstock. Mat on coloured cardstock and add to card.
Embellish card as desired.
I decided to make two of these cards with the same layout, using different DSP – to show a ‘masculine’ and ‘feminine’ take. This layout is repeatable with any DSP you have on hand! Can you spot the newly-released sentiment stamp I used? You can find it on page 119 of the new annual catalogue!
If you make any cards with this layout, be sure to share them in the comments below! I love to see your creations!
Happy Stampin’!
