Inkyfingers Papercrafting

Posts Tagged ‘sponge brayer

The beautiful Springtime Foils Designer Series Paper looks stunning on its own, but adding some ink via a sponge brayer is an amazing way to show off these papers as well! The foil elements will resist the ink and really POP in contrast. I played with this technique recently and even used it in my March workshops. Check out the different effects you can achieve by using different colour combinations!

The card above also shows off the Starburst punch, which I have been using a lot in my stamping lately! I love using a punch wherever possible instead of going to my Big Shot.

You can get a sponge brayer in my online store for just $10.75CAD! It comes with four sponges and two handles. The sponges are washable and reusable.

Have you used a sponge brayer in one of your cards? Show it off in the comments! I love to see your creations!

Happy Stampin’!

I am an independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in Nanaimo, BC. I love creating cards and other handmade projects, and I love showing others how they can make their own creations! I hope you can find creative inspiration through my blog and my classes. Thanks for stopping by!
