If you follow me on Facebook, you might have seen my big announcement recently (I even posted a live video to announce it, which I NEVER do!!). I decided to honour Stampin’ Up!’s annual Day of Service (May 21) by giving back in a big way and starting a 100 Card Challenge!
My pledge: I’m going to send out 100 cards to send joy to those in my community, and I kicked it all off with a donation of $100 to Nanaimo FoodShare. And that’s not all …. for however long it takes me to send those 100 cards, I’ll be donating 50-100% of my proceeds from every Stampin’ Up! order to the Nananimo Foodshare, as well! For every kit sold, including Paper Pumpkin subscriptions, I’ll be donating 100% of my proceeds. For all other orders, I’ll be donating 50% of my proceeds!
Nanaimo Foodshare is an amazing local non-profit that connects the community with resources, skills, and knowledge to create change that increases healthy food for everyone. They have a huge variety of programs for a wide range of community members, and work to support sustainable food sources, food security, and so much more. You can learn all about them here on their website.
The 100 Card Challenge wouldn’t be complete without me inviting all of my customers, friends, and followers to get involved, so here’s how you can participate along with me:
- Send cards to the people in your life – people need joy!
- Donate to Nanaimo Foodshare or any charity of your choice
- Help me raise more money by placing Stampin’ Up! orders (I’m donating 50-100% of my proceeds to the cause, until I complete the challenge)
- And of course …. win prizes! I’m doing two draws every week for people who join the fun on my Facebook page. So make sure you Like and Follow that page today to play along!
