Good morning everyone and welcome to my blog! It’s time for another blog hop, this time to celebrate Father’s Day with some masculine cards.

My card uses products from the World of Good suite, which is in the new annual catalogue. If you’re one of my customers, you’ll be receiving this catalogue in the mail soon; if not, please contact me and I can get one to you. The new catalogue is jam-packed with awesome products for a wide variety of occasions, and there are so many wonderful items that you’re going to fall in love with! You’ll be able to order from it starting June 3rd, but if you can’t wait till then – and you want to take advantage of the best deal in the catalogue – you can join my team to get $165 in product for $135, and yes, you can include items from the new catalogue in your starter kit! You can learn more about this amazing deal right here.

This is the very first card I’ve created with this suite and I know I will be making many, many more. I think it is absolutely stunning with its old world aesthetic and elegant charm. Plus, do you remember the Stone 3D embossing folder from the Power of Hope bundle during Sale-a-Bration … and how much I loved the intense texture and hoped they’d have something similar in the new annual catalogue? My wish came true with the Old World Paper embossing folder. Just look at this amazing texture …. and just like with the Stone folder, both sides of this paper are so lush!

On a more personal note, I am looking forward to honouring my husband this Father’s Day. He has been working so hard to keep our family safe and cared-for during the pandemic, in addition to working long and difficult hours (at home) for his IT Helpdesk job. And he does it all without a word of complaint. We are so lucky to have him!

I wish you all a wonderful weekend, and that you are safe, healthy, and comforted in these challenging times.

Now don’t forget to click on the buttons below to continue on the blog hop, and enjoy all the other masculine cards. Click on “Previous” to visit Erica’s blog and “Next” to see what MiRan has created!

Happy Stampin’!

I have a whole collection of masculine cards to share with you today, great for Father’s Day, masculine birthdays, or other occasions for the dudes in your life. Bonus tutorial included for the diagonal easel card I posted recently!

The first card uses the Tailored Tag punch, as well as the True Gentleman DSP and Truly Tailored stamp set. The punch is still current, though the paper and stamp set have retired. You can see how easy it is to make a great card with this fun punch design! I will definitely have more uses for this punch in my craft studio.

I used the same stamp set and paper to create this dapper double-z fold card! I just never get sick of this fold and the awesome variations it offers.

The Dad Jokes stamp set is one I just had to buy, as my husband can’t resist making jokes like this …. the bigger the groan, the better! Though the stamp set is now retired, I think I’ll be hanging on to the stamps and continuing to create with them! It also uses the Simple Stripes embossing folder, which is one of my new favourites!

Here’s a fantastic masculine card that works for a variety of occasions, using the stunning Waterfront stamp set. I used the chair die cut from the Seasonal Layers set, and one of my layering squares to cut out the window frame. “Celebrate” is from the terrific new Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set, which has already gotten a lot of use in my studio! With so much variety and versatility, it’s a terrific set to have on hand.

And now, as promised, a tutorial! You might remember I posted a photo of this card when I used it as a swap card for my May team meeting. Here’s how you can make your own.

The base for this card is 4 x 8″, scored at 4″ and scored diagonally on the front flap from centre bottom to top left.

Depending on what colour card base you use, you may also need a white or vanilla insert of 4 x 4″ to write your sentiment.

For the front of the card, start with a 4 x 5.25″ piece of cardstock and decorate as desired.

Your final touch will be a stamped and punched piece that is attached to the base with dimensionals, to hold your easel open.

I hope you like the tutorial! Leave me a comment with your recent creations!

Happy Stampin’, and Happy Father’s Day to the dads in your life!
