In a world of mass-produced items and electronic communications, I believe that giving or receiving a handmade card is really something special. There’s nothing quite like opening your mailbox to find that someone’s been thinking of you. I love creating handmade cards and teaching others to do the same! Sending a handmade card lets the people in your life know just how special they are to you.
I’ve been making cards and other papercraft products since early 2010. In 2016, I took the leap and became an Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. I love sharing their high-quality products and the creative techniques I’ve learned. Being a demonstrator is so much more rewarding than I could have predicted! I love teaching people how to create beautiful projects that are all their own, and I have met such wonderful people through my classes! I really enjoying mentoring my team, learning together, and collaborating with them and with other crafters and demonstrators!
I’ve lived in British Columbia all my life, and in Nanaimo since 2004. I love Nanaimo because it is big enough to have all the arts, culture, and shopping attractions that I want, without being overcrowded and too expensive to live in. I feel very lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world. In addition to my Stampin’ Up! business, I have a part-time job, a husband, and a teenage daughter. 
In addition to stamping, my other passion is theatre. I’ve been involved in the local community theatre group here since 2012. I love learning about all the different skills that go into a successful production, both onstage and off.
