Hello and welcome to another blog hop with the Seashore Stampers! So glad you could stop in today.
This month our theme is 3D projects. I always love using our Stampin’ Up! products to create fun and beautiful gift items, which I often use to spoil my club members, workshop attendees, and hostesses. I’ve got a special gift in mind to welcome back my club members for the Fall, but I don’t want to share that with you until after they’ve received it …. so I’ve got a different project to share today.
This project starts with our cute little Mini Pizza Boxes. These food-safe boxes come in a package of 8 boxes for just $8.25, and they are the perfect size for holding a collection of 3×3″ cards, a cookie or other treat, or any other fun (flat) item you can think of! I used the white box, but these handy boxes also come in gold (perfect for the holidays!).
The boxes take just seconds to assemble – no adhesive necessary – and then you can get to the fun part, decorating. I decided to try the herringbone technique with various pieces of Bumblebee DSP from Flowers for Every Season and the 2020-2022 In Color DSP Stack. This was my first try with this technique, and it was easier than I thought! I got so excited about it that I had to try it out again right away with the Rainbow Glimmer paper!
Here’s my finished box, with a sentiment from the Ridiculously Awesome stamp set added. I’ve been playing with that stamp set quite a bit, as it is the featured product for September’s Creativity to Go! When you subscribe by September 10th, you’ll receive this fantastic stamp set AND supplies and tutorials to create five cards.
