As You See It Challenge: Elements of Three
Posted July 29, 2020
on:This week I’m participating in the “As You See It” Challenge. These weekly challenges are meant to inspire creativity and encourage participants to interpret the theme as they wish. Anyone is welcome to participate!
This week’s theme is “Elements of Three”, meaning that all participants need to have three of “something” on their card. And to make it more fun, it’s a speed challenge, with only ten minutes to complete the card! No time to go back and re-create anything if it doesn’t turn out the way you imagined … just COMMIT and keep moving forward!
For my card, I knew I wanted to use the Forever Fern stamp set (my first time inking up this set!), and I knew I wanted to use bright, unexpected colours. I got my inkpads and cardstock ready, then started the timer and hoped for the best … and I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out!
I just love the textured look of these Distinktive stamps, don’t you? And I had just enough time to add some speckles on the card front and the sentiment, after punching it out with my Lovely Labels Pick-a-Punch. My time to complete this card was 9:39 (whew!).
I hope you enjoyed my project! Don’t forget to click on the image below so you can visit the other blogs and see their “elements of three” projects. If you like my project, you can see the products I used in the shopping list at the bottom of the post.

Laura, you did it!! This is one of my go to stamp sets now! I just love the colours you chose for the card and the way you accented your background with the sprinkles stamp. I also love the sentiment label with one end trimmed! Thanks for getting your adrenaline pumping with us at As You See It Challenges!
