Hello stampers! So glad you’re visiting my blog today. Another month has flown by and it’s time for another Seashore Stampers Blog Hop! This time the theme is St. Patrick’s Day and/or green.

I wasn’t sure whether I would get inspired for this hop, especially with lots of other projects on the go, but wouldn’t you know it – I got lucky and remembered the adorable trend I’ve seen recently of using the Pine Tree punch to create gnomes. So I tried my hand at creating a leprechaun, complete with a pot of gold! (How charming is that crooked little smile?!)

I’m always intrigued when I see punch art online, but I haven’t done a lot of it myself. I think this turned out pretty cute, and I would definitely like to play around more with this technique.

I’ve included a product list below so you can see exactly what I used to create this little charmer. I hope you enjoyed my project! Now don’t forget to click on the buttons below to continue on the blog hop, and enjoy all the other creations! Click on “Previous” to visit Adrienne’s blog and “Next” to see what MiRan has created!

Happy Stampin’!

Another demonstrator meeting means another collection of fun and beautiful Make and Take projects! I always enjoy the opportunity to get together with others who love stamping as much as I do. We have a great time sharing business ideas, seeking advice and feedback, and of course – stamping and creating together. Thanks so much to the wonderful demonstrators who shared their time, energy, and ideas with us at this recent meeting!

All of the projects are made using products from the new Spring Mini and/or Sale-a-Bration catalogues. I’ve labeled the photos with the main products used, and I’ve added a shopping list below so you can get any of the supplies you need to recreate whichever project(s) you fall in love with!

Barb showed us how to create an awesome little treat box using only one piece of cardstock and very little cutting. I’ll be recreating this project for sure – watch for it in an upcoming blog post!

Bruni combined the Heartfelt Bundle with the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set – a terrific combination. Extra terrific because if you buy the Heartfelt Bundle before March 31st, you’ll qualify for a free Level One Sale-a-Bration reward …. such as the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set! This was also the first time I worked with Merry Merlot ink, and I LOVE it! Can’t wait to play more with this beautiful colour!

Susan showed us how to create a beautiful birthday card using the Morning Star stamp set and the gorgeous Stitched Stars. The green floral images on the star above are all one stamp … the stamp is shaped to fit perfectly on the star!!

I loved learning how to do a scalloped tag topper closure card, courtesy of Laurel. Watch for an upcoming video on how to create this fun and unique fold!

I was also grateful to Carolyn for showing us how to use Blends to colour white embossing powder and ribbon, so that we can customize the colour of our project! Brilliant!

Lynne showed us how to make this adorable treat box with sweet little faceted gems to decorate! I love the heart-shaped opening!

I received this charming little notepad and pen from fellow demonstrator Susan. What a sweet gift – I just had to share it with you all!

The opportunity to learn from and connect with other demonstrators is so valuable to me. If you’re thinking of joining, this is the perfect time of year to do so – not only will you get your fully-customizable Starter Kit with $165 in product for only $135, but you will also receive a mini paper trimmer, a sample pack of beautiful Designer Series Paper, and a stamp set of your choice, all absolutely FREE! I’m always looking for new members to join my team, so if you’d like to know more about how to work your own hours, have fun, meet new people, and craft your heart out, let me know! Then we can attend the next demonstrator meeting together!

Today for Stampin’ Sunday we’re going to make a card with the Honey Bee bundle from the Spring Mini catalogue, and the gorgeous Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper. This paper has the word “specialty” in it because of the gorgeous gold foil accents on every piece. It is just stunning! This paper is a Level One reward item with Sale-a-Bration, meaning you can get it free with your $60 purchase until March 31st.

You could easily make this gorgeous card using Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the bees, but in the video I’ll teach you how to make a wobble spring to attach the large bee. The spring is pretty easy to make and it looks so cool when your bee can really fly!

You’ll need:

Cardbase: 8.5 x 5.5″
Coloured cardstock: 4-1/8 x 5-3/8″
White cardstock: 4 x 5.25″
DSP: 1.75 x 5.25″

Plus some scrap white cardstock for stamping your bees.

If you’d like to create a wobble spring for your large bee, you’ll also need the following tools:
– small circle punch
– pinhole punch, or a pushpin
– 30 gauge floral wire
– wire cutters
– screwdriver
– Tear and Tape

If your device/browser doesn’t allow videos, click here to watch on my YouTube channel. Don’t forget to like and subscribe while you are there!

Once you’ve made your own wobble spring card, don’t forget to share a photo in the comments below! I love to see your creations!

Happy Stampin’!

I wrote a few weeks ago about the beautiful swap cards I received at the recent demonstrator meeting in Victoria. Here are the terrific Make and Take projects I got to create at that same meeting! All of the projects are made using products from the new Spring Mini and/or Sale-a-Bration catalogues. I’ve labeled the photos with the main products used, and I’ve added a shopping list below so you can get any of the supplies you need to recreate whichever project(s) you fall in love with!

Make and Take projects don’t have to be cards! Lynne showed us how to make this wonderful lip balm holder using Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper. Perfect for gift-giving and craft fairs!

Bonny showed us how to make this adorable treat holder, which holds two chocolate hearts! What a sweet treat for a friend or loved one!

Crystal showed us how to make this beautiful pocket card featuring the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set and Lily Pad dies. These two products can be earned free with your qualifying purchase during Sale-a-Bration!

The Gang’s All Meer stamp set (another free Sale-a-Bration item) is one of the biggest hits this season. Above, we learned how to sponge a background for our adorable critters; below, Adrienne showed up the wonder of how to stamp four stamps at once with the Stamparatus!

This fun flip card by Jody is one I’ll be CASE’ing for sure – and I love the non-traditional Valentine’s colour!

MiRan must have read my mind when she decided to make this easel calendar using the Follow Your Art suite … I’ve been longing for a teeny calendar in my craft room, and now I have one!

I was already pretty enamoured with the adorable animals in the Birthday Bonanza suite, and creating this sweet little tag sealed the deal! They are on my wish list for sure!

The opportunity to learn from and connect with other demonstrators is so valuable to me. If you’re thinking of joining, this is the perfect time of year to do so – not only will you get your fully-customizable Starter Kit with $165 in product for only $135, but you will also receive a mini paper trimmer, a sample pack of beautiful Designer Series Paper, and a stamp set of your choice – all absolutely FREE! I’ve been running a special series of posts on my Facebook page to share all the amazing reasons to join my team. Sale-a-Bration is the PERFECT time to join, as there is a fabulous bonus available: in addition to choosing $165 in product for just $135 (and free shipping), you will also receive a mini paper trimmer and a 6×6″ sampler pack of Designer Series Paper, along with ANY stamp set of your choice from any current catalogue. Read on below to see the first five posts in the series … then follow my Facebook page so you can see the rest of my reasons!

Every week, I’ll be sharing another awesome benefit to being a demonstrator. Let’s start with the most obvious: demonstrators get a 20-25% discount on all their orders, which translates into 20-25% commission when they start to build their business! Let’s face it, we could all use a little extra income – and income earned for doing something you already love is a win-win!

Reason #2 to become a demonstrator: You can earn additional income based on your sales and recruiting. How much extra income is up to you! You’ll have the opportunity to build a team and earn even more, and you’ll be rewarded for milestones along the way.

Reason #3 to become a demonstrator: Your customizable starter kit includes $165 in product for just $135 AND free shipping.  Join before March 31st and you’ll also get a mini paper trimmer, DSP sampler pack, and a stamp set of your choice, all absolutely free!

Reason #4 to become a demonstrator: The annual incentive trip. Want to take an all-expenses-paid trip to Greece, Maui, or the Eastern Caribbean? Stampin’ Up! can take you there! Incentive trips offer wonderful travel adventures as well as plenty of time to relax on stunning beaches and by the pool. There are also loads of demonstrator-centered activities such as crafting, trying new products, and learning business strategies.

Reason #5 to become a demonstrator: With every sale you make, you earn flex points, which can be used for a variety of rewards.  You can redeem your points for catalogues, free product, or Stampin’ Up!-branded items; you can also redeem points for iTunes, Air Canada, and Amazon gift cards, as well as hotel vouchers. You can earn flex point bonuses in many other ways as well, including anniversaries, leadership, sales milestones, and recruiting.

To learn more about the current recruiting offer and get a better look at the beautiful papers, watch my Spring Mini Unboxing Video. You can also read my “Starter Kit FAQ“. Then, if you’re interested in the opportunity, or have questions about it, please drop me a line and let’s talk about all the possibilities Stampin’ Up! has to offer! The Spring mini is FULL of terrific items that you’re going to be so excited to get your hands on – why not join my team and get them all at a discount? 😉
