Cardstock, 2 pieces of the same colour:
1 piece 4-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, score score along long side @ 4-1/4″
1 piece 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, score @ 2-1/8″, 4-1/4″, & 6-3/8″
(Since I can’t see the 6-3/8” mark on my trimmer, I find it easier to rotate the cardstock and score it at 2-1/8” from the other side.)
DSP:
2 pieces 2″ x 5.25″
2 pieces 2″ x 2-7/8″
4 pieces 1-1/8″ x 2″
1 piece 4 x 5.25”
Score your larger piece of cardstock at 2-1/8″, 4-1/4″, & 6-3/8″. Then, as below, make two cuts between the outer score lines at 1-1/4″ from each long edge.
Crease all your folds. Your card base now looks like this:
And from above:
Attach the other piece of cardstock by applying one piece of tear and tape on the scored section. The tear and tape is slightly wider than the scored piece, so after you remove the backing from the tape, run your fingertip along the tape to pull down the bit of tape that overhangs the cardstock and stick it to the tape on the cardstock.
When you stand your card up, it will look like this:
Now add your Designer Series Paper!
Here’s what the card looks like now:
Finally, embellish as desired.
