I created this card last summer as I worked towards my goal to use up all my retired DSP (a goal that is still ongoing – I have way more retired DSP than I originally thought!). It’s a simple and fun card to make, and a great way to show off Stampin’ Up!’s beautiful Designer Series Paper. Though the paper and stamp set I’m using in this project are both retired, you can easily re-create this design with current products.
Choose two colours that co-ordinate with your chosen DSP – one bright, and one more subtle. Use the more subtle colour as your card base, and cut to 5.5 x 8.5″. Score in centre.
Cut your DSP to 5 x 2.75″. Attach DSP to your card base, leaving a small border around the bottom and sides. Your card base will still be visible at the top of the card.
Use your other colour of cardstock to cut a scalloped circle (or other desired shape).
Cut a white circle (or other desired shape). Stamp your sentiment or image with the same colour ink as the cardstock you’re using.
That’s it – assemble the card!
Happy Stampin’!
